LAP OF 5* Luxury, Lovely 15th May

After checking in the previous night with all our dusty bike gear on it was to be some fine food and fine wine that evening. However after going to breakfast and having some yoghurt, muesli, bananas and coffee, my stomach did not feel so good.
Maybe a small snooze and I will feel a bit better.
UH! NO!
Spent some time talking to God on the white telephone so the rest of the day was spent sleeping after taking some tablets. It was probably too much rich food and wine the night before after basic food that did it. I am not the only one to be having the problem so back onto the bread and water diet for the next few days again.
Least I can get it out of the way before the Pamir and the home stays where a wash will be the only luxury
Jeff has set to work on the bikes fitting all our rear knobbly tyres on and also there is a problem with Michael’s bike. The rear suspension bolt has sheared and was being held in place by the exhaust pipe. Jeff finds another Hi-Tensile bolt but needs a tap to remove the remaining part of the bolt. Max manages to find one on his travels and all is repaired by 18:00
Ok already to head into the challenge called the Pamir, which will be some road but mainly dirt road and roads with rock falls and also where they have been washed away.
“NICE”
No more Wifi for a few days then
I also turns out that the Ambassador to Uzbekistan is stopping at the hotel and they may have a five minute audience with him tomorrow. Also an official complaint will be lodged with the British Embassy in Uzbekistan and also at the Uzbekistan Embassy in Tajikistan
